Why are the items on the website cheaper than the ones on eBay or Etsy?
They are the exact same items. It's just costs us more to have them on eBay and Etsy. Plus we would like to
encourage our customers to shop from our site
Why are custom order so expensive?
For custom orders we calculate how much our fabric is going to be and multiply it by 3 and that is how we get our
base price. It mostly depends on the fabric you want to use, and the batting you choose. We don't multiply the
cost of pillows, thread, and other things like that. Fabric costs between $5.00 to $9.00 a yard or more.
Consider that it take 18 yards to make a twin rag quilt. But ours can be handed to the next generation.
Why should I double or triple sew all my seams?
In a rag quilt there are lots of joints. Lots of joints mean lots of opportunities to come apart somewhere. After all
the work your going to put into a rag quilt, you don't want it to fall apart. Plus it helps to stop the fraying at the
seams. It really is true, "a stitch in time saves nine".
